Arianna Stassinopoulos Huffington resides in the US. She is a Greek-American writer, syndicated writer of columns and businesswoman. She co-founded The Huffington Post, is the CEO and founder of Thrive Global as well an writer of 15 novels. Arianna Huffington works as an author, philanthropist, television host and the owner of The Huffington Post. Her birthplace was Greece she relocated to England at the age of sixteen and then was able to graduate from Cambridge University with an MA in Economics. As the first non-English speaking student, she was elected President of The Cambridge Union' at the age of 21. In the years following after her college graduation, she was an influential Conservative syndicated journalist. A few more years later, she founded The Huffington Post which featured critical commentary on the current political scene. Her fame has helped attract a number of famous contributors. Arianna became famous in 2003 after she decided to stand independently in the California recall vote to succeed the Governor Davis. In addition, she led the Detroit project that promoted fuel efficient cars. In 2009 she was recognized by Forbes as the most influential female media personality, taking the 12th place on the listing and the following year, the Guardian listed her on the top 100 of media lists. AOL, Inc. named her president of their media company in 2011, after they acquired The Huffington Post. The Huffington Post included additional AOL brands, including Engadget AOLmusic Style list as well as Patch Media. Elli was the son of Konstantinos, a management and journalism consultant.
